The Ten Stems

Gui (Yin Water)

(Mizunoto / Gui)

Symbolizes rain or mist. Gentle, intuitive, and deeply imaginative.

Gui represents Yin Water, symbolizing gentle rain, morning mist, or a quiet stream. Those with a Gui Day Master are gentle, introverted, and possess incredibly deep intuition and imagination.

Just as rain nourishes all living things silently, Gui individuals are selfless, compassionate, and naturally spiritual. They are highly observant, picking up on subtle emotional shifts that others miss entirely. They excel in creative writing, healing professions, and the arts.

Their extreme sensitivity makes them prone to pessimism, anxiety, and overthinking. Like mist, they can be elusive, making it hard for others to truly understand them. They must actively protect their energy from toxic environments.
